Lisa Frank: You Gotta Have It!
Not So Obsessed With This Movie In Dish Pay Per View
As the viewer we know things won't stay that way for long.In a matter of time a new temp Lisa Sheridan (played by Ali Larter) slithers her way into Charles' office, and from that point on she makes it very clear that she wants him. Derek clearly has no interest in Lisa, and he hammers that point into her head, yet she refuses to give up. Everything falls apart when she shows up to surprise him on a business retreat and, after he rebuffs her once more, overdoses on prescription pills naked in his bed. Needless to say, things don't look good for Charles when Sharon finds out.
She kicks him out of the house and it appears Lisa has gone away for good, but again, we know she will be back with a vengeance. This is where the movie's big climactic catfight kicks into high gear, and it seems that the movie was made solely to build around Beyonce kicking some other chick's butt.I was not expecting much from this film, and after watching it I'm glad I got it through Netflix instead of paying five bucks to rent it. Beyonce is clearly not famous for her acting skills, and she is so completely bland this entire movie I had a hard time believing that Derek could have so easily resisted the seductive Lisa's charms.
Beyonce was like a wet blanket in every scene she was in, and didn't start to show a little fire until the big fight at the end. But at that point it was too late. The movie would have benefited more if Beyonce's character of Sharon had been a spitfire the entire film. Also, the fact that Charles decides to not tell Sharon about any of Lisa's antics is ridiculous. Why wouldn't he tell her? He never succumbed to her advances so it's not like he had anything to feel guilty about. It's hard to have any sympathy for him when he begs for Sharon's forgiveness after she finds out, because he could have easily avoided the entire problem if he had told her up front.The big catfight at the end, which was essentially the draw of the whole movie, really goes by too quickly. They should have drawn out the fight more and maybe stepped up the camp value of this movie. As it is it's just a watered down film with really no intensity or thrills. Skip it!

what is the worst tantrum you ever saw in public? the worst tantrum i saw was at cvs this girl who looked like she was about 4 or 5 really wanted these lisa frank pencils she was crying and screaming soooo loud at the top of her lungs. she wouldn't let go of it. her mom was saying give it to me and i'll put it back. she continued to scream. my mom told me some people shouldn't have children. another bad tantrum i saw was this boy throwing himself on the floor at target.
Funny you should mention a tantrum at target.. I was at target with my then 4 year old daughter. She wanted a certain toy, I told her no, and she proceeded to throw herself down on the floor and scream. I picked her up and carried her all the way from the back of target to the front with her screaming and trying to get out of my arms and had to force her in her car seat and went straight home. Im surprised no one thought I was kidnapping her:) It was so embarrsing though.
Just because a child throws a tantrum in public doeant mean the parents are bad parents or shouldnt have children... they may handle a tantrum differently at home than in public but may be concerned about how people will precieve how they are handling the situation. Tantrums happen - but the best thing to do is remove the child and yourself from the situation not give in to and argue like the parent in your first example did.
